Guardian Guardian

DESCRIPTION: The guardian is a unique shape, designed specifically for workshops. It features the triple dihedral concept, that being essentially a low aspect platform with upswept wing tips. The flying performance is greatly enhanced by this addition. The kite is constructed of ripstop and a carbon fibre frame. It has a good wind range and is best in light to moderate consistent winds.

SIZE:The body of the kite is 2M wide and 850mm deep. There is a choice of 3 metre black Organza tails or a 10 metre streamer tail. The streamer tail is predominantly black and in filled with colour blocks complimenting the colours in the head.

DURATION: Time allotted is 8hrs or more realistically a full day.

COST: $90 Ausd.

GENERAL COMMENTS: The participants need an average sewing skill and a functional sewing machine and relevant accessories. The focus of the workshop is concentrates on the unique method of appliqué and considers sparring and assembly of the head.
The head of the kite is a black surround and embellished with 4 colours. Participants are welcome to pre order their preferences in respect to colourways prior to the workshop.
All hardware is supplied and where relevant, panels are precut to save time at the workshop. There is a simple colour workshop manual which enables participants to complete the project as a later date if they wish.
