Description: Ravenette is a uniquely shaped and original platform. It flies in a wide range of wind conditions and like all kites is best in light to moderate steady winds.

Size of Kite: The height is 900mm and the wing span is 1.6M. It has a long10M streamer tail. The tail is predominantly black with complimented colour blocks that reflect the colours in the head.

Duration: A full day and a half is needed to complete the project.

Cost: $95 Ausd

General Comments: Participants will require an average skill level of kite making and sewing skills. They are welcome and encouraged to pre-order their own colours prior to the workshop, but this obviously not mandatory. A simple colour workshop manual enables participants to complete the project at a later date. The outline of the head is precut and marked and all materials are supplied. The workshop focuses on a unique appliqué technique and involves unusual sparring procedures to finish the kite A functional sewing machine and full allied sewing kit is necessary.
